Order of execution
1. Disconnect the high voltage wire from the ignition coil. Periodically turn on the starter for 15-20 seconds and at the same time turn the steering wheel from lock to lock 5-6 times.
Warning! In the process of pumping, constantly add fluid so that its level in the tank does not fall below the filter installation site.
Warning! If bleeding is done when the engine is not rotating, the air will be re-dissolved in the fluid. Be sure to bleed while cranking the engine.
2. Connect the high voltage wire to the ignition coil, start the engine and let it run at idle speed.
3. Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times. Check that the fluid is not foaming and the level has not dropped.
Warning! To avoid damage, do not hold the steering wheel fully turned for more than 10 seconds.
4. Check that the fluid is not milky and the level is between the marks on the dipstick.
5. Check that there is a slight change in fluid level when turning the steering wheel to the left and right.
Warning! If the fluid level changes significantly, re-bleed the power steering hydraulic system.
Warning! If the fluid level rises suddenly after stopping the engine, there is still air in the system.
Warning! If there is air in the power steering hydraulic drive, abnormal noise will be heard when the pump is running. Air in the system will shorten the life of the pump and other parts.
