Execution order
1. The force required to turn the steering wheel and return the wheel to its original position should be the same as that required to make moderate turns and U-turns.
2. When the steering wheel is turned 90° and held in this position for several seconds while the vehicle is moving at 35 km/h, the steering wheel should return to within 20° of the neutral position upon release.
Warning! If the steering wheel is turned very quickly, the initial effort required to turn the steering wheel may be increased. This is normal, especially when the engine is idling, as the pump output is somewhat reduced.
