Execution order

1. Disconnect the pressure hose from the power steering pump. Connect the special measuring tool between the disconnected pressure hose and the pump as shown in the figure.
2. Bleed the power steering hydraulic drive, then start the engine and turn the steering wheel several times until the fluid temperature rises to 50°C.
3. Increase engine speed to 1000 min⁻¹.
4. Close the special tool switch valve and measure the pressure.
Fluid pressure generated by power steering pump: 6.2 MPa
Warning! Do not keep the special tool switch valve closed for more than 10 seconds.
5. Remove the special tools and connect the discharge hose to the pump, tightening the hose union nut to the required torque.
Tightening torque: 55–65 Nm
6. Bleed the power steering hydraulic system.
