2. Bleed the hydraulic drive of the power steering, then start the engine and turn the steering wheel several times so that the fluid temperature rises to 50°C.
3. Increase the engine speed to 1000 min-1.
4. Close the special tool valve and measure the pressure.
Power steering pump fluid pressure: 8.3-8.8 mPa
Warning! Do not keep the special tool valve closed for more than 10 seconds.
5. If the pressure generated by the pump does not reach the required value, repair the pump.
6. Remove the special tools and connect the pressure hose to the pump by tightening the hose union nut to the required torque.
Tightening torque: 55–65 Nm
