Note:
- 1. While bleeding, add fluid to the tank so that its level does not fall below the filter.
- 2. If bleeding is performed when the engine is idling, air will get into the fluid. Therefore, bleeding should only be performed when the engine is cranked by the starter.
2. Connect the high-voltage wire to the ignition coil and start the engine at idle speed.
3. Turn the steering wheel until there are no air bubbles in the fluid in the reservoir.
4. Make sure that the liquid is not milky in color and that its level is marked "MAX" and "MIN" on the wall of the tank.
5. Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir changes slightly when you turn the steering wheel in both directions.
Note:
- 1. If the fluid level changes by more than 10 mm, repeat bleeding the system.
- 2. If the fluid level rises sharply when the engine is stopped, repeat bleeding the system.
- 3. Incomplete air removal causes rattling noise from the pump and increased noise from the distributor and reduces the service life of the pump.
