Convergence
Convergence is defined as the difference in distances (B-A) between the front and rear sides of the wheel rims. Positive toe means the wheels are closer together at the front than at the rear when measured at wheel midpoint height.
If the toe-in does not match the required value, loosen the left and right lock nuts of the tie rod ends, then rotate the tie rods to set the required angles. Tighten locknuts. Convergence (B–A): 0±2 mm.
- Toe adjustment must be performed by rotating the left and right tie rod ends at the same angle.
- When adjusting the toe, loosen the outer collar securing the protective boot to prevent it from twisting.
- After adjustment, tighten the tie rod end locknuts and boot clamps.
- Adjust the toe so that the difference between the left and right sides does not differ by more than±1 mm.
Tie-rod end locknut tightening torque: 50–60 Nm
Collapse
Camber is the angle of the wheel in relation to the road surface in a vertical plane. It can be positive if the wheels are tilted outward, or negative if the wheels are tilted inward. The camber angle is set at the time of manufacture of the vehicle and cannot be adjusted. Camber: 0°±30'.
Pitch Angle
The caster angle of the kingpin is set at the time of manufacture of the vehicle and cannot be adjusted. If the kingpin pitch angle is not as specified, replace bent or damaged parts. Pivot Angle: 2°49'±30.
1. Before checking and adjusting wheel alignment, the front suspension must be free of worn, loose, or damaged parts.
2. Wheel alignment must be done using the special tool 09529-21000.
3. The camber and caster angle of the kingpin are set at the time of manufacture of the vehicle and cannot be adjusted.
4. If camber and kingpin caster are not within specifications, replace bent or damaged parts.
5. The difference in deviation of the angle of the longitudinal inclination of the king pin between the left and right sides of the vehicle should be no more than±30'.
Adjustment of a convergence of back wheels
Rear wheel alignment: 4 (3/ –1) mm.
Attention! Toe adjustment of the rear wheel is carried out by turning the connecting rod of the transverse arm of the rear suspension.
Left side: clockwise rotation –> positive convergence.
Right side: clockwise rotation –> negative convergence.
Change in toe per turn of connecting rod per turn: 0.6 mm (0,6°).
Warning! After adjusting the toe, tighten both nuts to the correct torque.
Tightening torque: 50–60 Nm.
