Without the use of a diagnostic tester
1. Remove all elements up to the oil filter, as for the case of adjusting the main pressure (valve assembly does not need to be removed).
2. Turn the adjusting screw on the valve assembly to adjust the reduction pressure. Rated value: 420 kPa. Turning the adjusting screw clockwise reduces the pressure; counterclockwise - to increase. Each turn of the adjusting screw changes the pressure by 420 kPa.
Note: try to adjust the pressure to the middle value of the nominal range (425±20 kPa).
3. Install the removed parts in reverse order.
4. Perform a line pressure test.
Using a diagnostic tester
5. Adjust the solenoid valve so that when the duty cycle of the control signal is 50%, the pressure in the downshift brake line is 320±30 kPa. Change in pressure at full turn of the adjusting screw: 30 kPa.
Attention! Carry out the adjustment when the temperature of the transmission fluid is 80-90°C. If you adjust at a higher temperature, the pressure will decrease at idle and cannot be adjusted.
