Without using a diagnostic tester
1. Remove all components up to the oil filter, as for the case of adjusting the main pressure (the valve assembly does not need to be removed).
2. Turn the adjusting screw of the valve assembly to adjust the reducing pressure. The nominal value is 420 kPa. Turning the adjusting screw clockwise reduces the pressure; counterclockwise - to increase. With each turn of the adjusting screw, the pressure changes by 420 kPa.
Note: Try to adjust the pressure to the middle value of the nominal range (425±20 kPa).
3. Install the removed parts in reverse order.
4. Perform a line pressure check.
Using a diagnostic tester
5. Adjust the solenoid valve so that when the control signal duty cycle is 50%, the pressure in the downshift brake line is 320±30 kPa. Pressure change with a full turn of the adjusting screw: 30 kPa.
Attention! Perform adjustment at a transmission fluid temperature of 80-90°C. If adjustment is performed at a higher temperature, the pressure will decrease at idle speed and it will not be possible to perform its adjustment.
