Drain the working fluid and check if there are any signs of contamination. After the cause of contamination has been eliminated, fill with new fluid.

1. Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the differential housing.

2. Remove the oil pan.

3. Check: oil filter for clogging and damage. Replace if necessary.

4. Clean the mating surfaces of the drive axle housing and the oil pan.

5. Install the oil pan with a new gasket and tighten the oil pan bolts to 10-12 Nm.

6. Tighten the drain plug to a torque of 30-35 Nm.

7. Fill with 4 liters of the recommended automatic transmission fluid: The total required amount of fluid is 6.1 liters. However, during the change process, only approximately 4.5 liters can be replaced, because, as a rule, some fluid remains in the torque converter.

The original can be read on the resource hyundaibook.ru

8. Start the engine and let it idle for at least 2 minutes. Then, with the parking brake on, move the gear selector lever momentarily through each position - and finally set it to the neutral "N" position.

9. Add enough ATF to bring the level up to the lower mark: Check the fluid level again after normal operating temperature has been reached. The fluid level should be between the upper and lower marks of the "HOT" (hot) range. Install a level indicator to prevent dirt from entering the unit.
