2. Start the engine. Turn the steering wheel several times, turn continuously so that the fluid temperature rises to 50-60°C. The car should have. motionless.
3. The engine must be idling. Turn the steering wheel fully clockwise and counterclockwise several times.
4. There should be no foaming or cloudiness in the fluid reservoir.
5. Stop the engine to check the difference in fluid levels with the engine running and the engine stopped.
Notes:
- 1) If the level difference is 5 mm or more, bleed the system.
- 2) If the fluid level suddenly rises after the engine is turned off, this indicates that the air has not been completely removed from the system.
- 3) If the air is not completely removed, a rattling sound will be heard in the pump and noise in the valve, this will reduce the life of the pump.
