1 - vacuum hose; 2 - clamp; 3 - pin with a head and a hole for a cotter pin; 4 - nut, 8–12 Nm; 5 - spacer; 6 - gasket; 7 - vacuum brake booster.
Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the brake pipes from the master brake cylinder.
2. Remove the master brake cylinder.
Warning! Brake fluid dissolves paint, plastic, and wire insulation, so if you accidentally spill fluid on your vehicle's paintwork or components, wash it with plenty of water.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum brake booster.
4. Inside the car, remove the spring cotter pin, and remove the pin with the head and hole for the cotter pin.
5. Remove the brake light switch.
6. Remove the four nuts securing the vacuum brake booster.
7. Remove the vacuum brake booster.
Installation
1. Install the brake booster with a new gasket on the bulkhead of the engine compartment and secure with four nuts.
Tightening torque: 8–12 Nm
2. Connect the link to the brake pedal and install the pin with the head and hole for the cotter pin and secure it with a new spring cotter pin.
3. Install the brake master cylinder to the brake booster and secure with nuts.
4. Connect the vacuum hose from the engine compartment to the brake booster.
5. Connect the brake pipes and tighten the connecting nuts of the pipes.
6. Fill the brake reservoir with brake fluid. Bleed the air from the hydraulic circuit of the brake system.
7. Check for brake fluid leaks.
8. Check and, if necessary, adjust the pedal height and brake pedal free play.
9. After installation, apply grease to the brake pedal and traction pedal contact points.
