Drain the brake fluid.

Disconnect the brake pipes from the master cylinder.

Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor.

Remove the rear brake pressure regulator bracket.

Remove the brake master cylinder assembly.

Remove the vacuum hose (4).

Remove the spring clip.

Remove the spring clip.


After removing the cotter pin, remove the axle (2) that attaches the fork to the pedal.

Unscrew the four nuts (3) and remove the brake booster (1).

2 - first chamber piston;
3 - piston of the second chamber;
4 - retaining ring;
5 - shield;
6 - vacuum booster;
7 - expansion tank.





Installation



Installation is carried out in reverse order, taking into account the following:

Adjust the clearance between the brake booster pushrod and the piston.

A=B-C-D=0,7±0,1mm.

A=B-C-D=0,7±0,1mm.


If the clearance value does not correspond to the nominal value, adjust it by changing the length of the pushrod by turning the pushrod adjusting screw (arrow)
