Removal



Remove the drum brake shoes.

Loosen the union nut of the brake pipe at the brake cylinder on the back side. Disconnect the brake line and seal its opening accordingly.

Unscrew the two brake cylinder mounting bolts from the rear of the brake shield and remove the working brake cylinder.

Installation



Apply a layer of sealant to the contact surface of the working cylinder.

Install the working brake cylinder on the brake shield and secure it with two bolts using a force of 10 Nm.

Remove the plug and tighten the brake pipe union nut to 15 Nm.

Tighten the air bleed screw to 10 Nm.

Install the brake pads.

Bleed the brake system.
