Checking functionality
Disconnect the brake pipes from the master cylinder.
In place of the tubes, connect one pressure gauge to the inlet of the proportional valve, and the second to the outlet.
Note: After installing the pressure gauges, bleed the brake system.
Press the brake pedal and measure the current pressure at the input and output of the proportional valve. If the pressure value corresponds to that shown in Figure 6.40, then the valve is in good condition.
Reconnect the brake pipes and bleed the brake system.

Install the master cylinder as shown in Figure 6.41.
Tighten the brake pipe mounting nuts and bleed the brake system.
Tightening torque of brake pipe nut: 13–17 N·m, proportional valve nut: 35–55 N·m.
