Withdrawal
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector.
Disconnect the brake pipes from the master brake cylinder. Install plugs on open holes.
Turn away nuts of fastening and remove the brake cylinder.
Attention! Wipe up spilled brake fluid from painted surfaces immediately.
Disassembly
Remove the reservoir cap and drain the brake fluid.

Loosen the tank mounting screws and use a screwdriver to remove the tank from the brake cylinder seals (pic. 6.33).

Remove retaining ring (pic. 6.34).

Remove the primary piston stop pin by pushing on the piston with a screwdriver. Remove the primary piston (pic. 6.35).

Remove the secondary piston stop pin by pushing on the piston with a screwdriver. Remove secondary piston (pic. 6.36).
Note. The primary and secondary pistons cannot be disassembled.
Examination
Check the condition of the cylinder mirror (scuffs, rust).
Assess the degree of wear of the cylinder, replace it if necessary.
Note. If the cylinder mirror is damaged, replace the brake master cylinder assembly.
Note. Wash parts of the master brake cylinder with alcohol.
Assembly
Lubricate all parts with clean brake fluid when installing.

Carefully install the springs and pistons into the cylinder. Make sure the placement of parts is correct (pic. 6.37).

Press the piston with a screwdriver and install the circlip (pic. 6.38).
Press the piston until the spring is fully compressed and install the limit pin.
Install tank seals.

Install the master cylinder reservoir (pic. 6.39).
Installation
Install the master brake cylinder to the vacuum brake booster.
Establish the amplifier and the cylinder on a partition of a motor compartment.
Connect the brake pipes to the master brake cylinder.
Connect the vacuum hose to the booster.
Connect the booster rod to the brake pedal.
Fill the master cylinder reservoir with brake fluid. Bleed the brake system.
Attention! The vacuum brake booster cannot be disassembled.
