Disassembly
After removing the lower guide pin, lift up the caliper bracket (complete with brake pads, pad guides and gasket).
Remove the lower guide pin bushing, lower guide pin boot, upper guide pin boot.
Remove the piston boot ring.
Remove the piston boot.
Using a special tool, as shown in the figure, unscrew the piston from the caliper body.
Remove the O-ring with your finger.
Flush the piston and cylinder surfaces with brake fluid.
Using the handset (2) diameter 19 mm, press the spring housing (1) to the caliper body and using a special tool, remove the retaining ring (3).
Remove the spring housing.
Remove return spring.
Remove the limiter plate, limiter, control rod and tie rod.
Remove the o-ring and stem lever.
Remove the lever boot.
Remove the parking brake lever.
Remove return spring.
Unscrew the bleed screw.
Remove the caliper housing.
Remove the outer gasket.
Remove the brake shoe assembly.
Remove the brake shoe with wear indicator assembly.
Remove the shoe guide.
Unscrew the top guide pin.
Remove the top guide pin bushing.
Remove the caliper bracket.
Check the removed elements for wear and damage.
Assembly
Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
