Note: For more detailed information on replacing the brake disc, please refer to the chapter "Front suspension".
Brake discs must be replaced simultaneously on both sides. Replacing just one disc may result in uneven brake performance.
Unscrew the caliper bolts, remove the caliper and tie it to the body with wire, leaving the hose connected.
Unscrew the stud bolts.
Now you can pull the brake disc off the wheel hub by hand.
If it is rusted, you can help it by hitting it with a hammer, but only if the disk cannot be removed without it.
Before installing a new disc, clean the mating surface of the wheel hub.
