Execution order
1. Check the number of clicks when tightening the parking brake lever with a force of 196 N.
Lever travel: 6-7 clicks
2. If the number of clicks is different from the required number, adjust the cable length by turning the adjusting nut on the cable compensator.
3. After adjustment, perform the following checks:
- a. Turn on the ignition, lift the parking brake lever one click and check that the parking brake indicator lamp in the instrument cluster comes on;
- b. Check that the rear brakes hold the vehicle securely on the inclined plane.
