
2. Adjust the lever if the number of sector clicks exceeds the norm specified above.
Note: After servicing the rear brakes, loosen the parking brake adjusting nut, start the engine and depress the brake pedal several times to activate the self-adjustment of the brakes before adjusting the parking brake.
3. Place chocks under the rear wheels and raise the front of the car. Make sure the car is securely supported.
4. Pull the parking brake lever up one sector click.

5. Remove the trim panel.
6. Loosen the adjusting nut (A) to tighten the parking brake cable until the rear wheels lock.

7. Release the parking brake lever and make sure that the rear wheels are unlocked. Readjust if necessary.
8. Make sure that the rear wheels are completely locked with the parking brake lever raised.
9. Install the facing panel.
