Brake pedal installation height: 182.1 mm
2) Unscrew the lock nut of the pusher and adjust the height of the brake pedal above the floor within the required limits and by rotating the pusher, reduce or increase its length.
3) Turn the brake light switch until a gap of 0.5–1.0 mm is obtained between the switch and the brake pedal stop
Note. The brake pedal travel must be at least 130 mm, otherwise repeat the adjustment of the brake pedal height and the gap between the brake light switch and the pedal stop.
4) Connect the connector to the brake light switch.
5) Make sure the brake lights turn off when you release the brake pedal.
6) With the engine off, press the brake pedal several times to remove the vacuum in the brake booster. Depress the brake pedal with your hand until you feel resistance and measure the pedal free play.
Brake pedal free travel: 3-8mm
If the free play of the brake pedal is less than required, check that the clearance between the brake light switch pushrod and the brake pedal stop is correct.
If the pedal free play is greater than required, then the reason is the increased clearance between the axle and the brake pedal lever. Check the condition of the parts and replace if necessary.
