Rotate the brake light switch until the clearance between the switch housing and the brake pedal lever reaches the nominal value. Then secure the switch with a lock nut.
- Gap "A": 0.5-1.0mm
If the gap is out of specification, adjust it.
2. Adjust clearance "A" between the brake light switch and the pedal travel limiter.
- A) Loosen the locknut.
- b) Rotate the brake light switch to adjust the clearance.
- V) Tighten locknut.
3. Check the free travel of the brake pedal.
- free running "IN" brake pedal: 3-8mm
4. Check up height of an arrangement of a pedal of a brake.
- A) Check the free pedal height.
- Free brake pedal height: 176±0.3 mm
- b) Start the engine, press the pedal with a force of 500 N and check the height of the pedal when pressed.
- The height of the brake pedal when depressed at a force of 500 N: 75 mm or more
- V) Check the pedal height when fully depressed with no brake fluid.
- Fully depressed brake pedal height with no brake fluid: 44mm or more
