2. Fold up the floor covering and measure the pedal height (3) from the floor of the body to the center line of the pedal platform (4). Rated value: 164.8 mm.
3. Loosen locknut (5) pusher and, turning the pusher with pliers, adjust the height of the pedal. Tighten locknut after adjustment.
Attention: during adjustment, do not press the pusher of the master cylinder.
4. Press the brake pedal 2-3 times to create a vacuum in the vacuum booster. Press the brake pedal (IN) hand and measure the amount of free play (A) pedals (before the resistance). Rated value: 3-8 mm.
5. If the amount of free play is less than the nominal value, check the clearance between the pedal and the brake light switch (WITH). If the amount of free play is greater than the nominal value, there is excessive clearance between the pivot pin and the brake pedal.
6. Start the engine, press the brake pedal with a force of approximately 120 kg (1176.8 N) and check for leaks in the brake pipes.
