Checking brake pad wear (Hyundai Accent MC)

Front pads

1. Remove the front wheel.

2. Check the thickness of the brake pad friction linings through the hole in the brake caliper (excluding the support plate). Nominal value: 11.0 mm. Limit value: 2.0 mm

Note: If the measured value of the lining thickness is below the limit on at least one pad, the complete set of brake pads should be replaced.

Rear pads

3. Remove the rear wheel.

4. Check the thickness of the brake pad friction linings through the hole in the brake caliper. Nominal value: 10.0 mm. Limit value: 2.0 mm.
