Checking the brake fluid level (Hyundai Accent MC)

0
The manufacturer can install different types of master brake cylinders in the vehicle. Usually, the supply reservoir of the master brake cylinder is also the supply reservoir of the clutch hydraulic drive. In addition to ease of maintenance, this increases safety. The increase in safety is expressed in the fact that if there is a leak in the brake hydraulic drive, then as the fluid level drops, the clutch hydraulic drive will be left without a supply, i.e. the clutch hydraulic drive will fail first before the brakes fail. However, the manufacturer's instructions contain images of a separate supply reservoir of the clutch hydraulic drive, which indicates the possibility of using different components when assembling the vehicle.

Note: The brake fluid level directly depends on the degree of wear of the brake pads. Due to the wear of the pads and subsequent automatic adjustment of the gaps, there is a slight decrease in the fluid level in the reservoir.

1. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If the fluid level has dropped, make sure there are no leaks in the brake system pipes and check the brake pads for wear.
