- Brake fluid type: DOT3 or DOT4
Note: As the brake pads wear, the brake fluid level drops slightly, but this does not indicate a problem.
Attention:
- If the brake fluid level drops noticeably in a short time, this indicates a leak in the brake system.
- Brake fluid is toxic and corrosive.
- Use only the specified brake fluid. In addition, the additives contained in different grades of brake fluid may react chemically when mixed, so if possible, do not mix different types of brake fluid.
- Brake fluid is hygroscopic. Too much moisture in it adversely affects the brake system and reduces the effectiveness of the brakes.
2. If the level is near the mark "MIN", then remove the dirt around the cap, remove the reservoir cap and carefully add brake fluid to the mark "MAX". Install and securely tighten the reservoir cap.
Note: do not fill the reservoir with brake fluid above the mark "MAX".
