1. After bleeding the hydraulic drive of the Hyundai Getz brake system, press the brake pedal 20 times with a force of more than 10 kg.
2. Fully tighten the parking brake lever three times.
3. When tightening the parking brake lever with a force application point at a distance of 25 mm from the end of the lever, it should move 6-8 sector teeth. If the number of teeth is not correct, adjust the cable length by turning the adjusting nut on the cable compensator.
5. Turn on the ignition, raise the parking brake lever one tooth and check that the parking brake warning lamp in the instrument cluster lights up.
6. Check up that back brakes reliably keep the car on an inclined plane.
