Procedure
1. Check the number of clicks when tightening the parking brake lever with a force of 196 N. Parking brake lever travel: 8 clicks.
2. If the number of clicks differs from the required number, adjust the cable length by turning the adjusting nut on the cable compensator.
3. Turn on the ignition, lift the parking brake lever one click and check that the parking brake indicator lamp in the instrument cluster comes on.
4. Check that the rear brakes hold the vehicle securely on the inclined plane.
