Order of execution
1. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
Recommended brake fluid: DOT3
Warning! Brake fluid dissolves paint, plastic, and wire insulation, so if you accidentally spill fluid on your vehicle's paintwork or components, wash it with plenty of water.
Warning! When pumping under pressure, do not press the brake pedal
2. Unscrew the cap from the bleeder fitting and attach one end of a transparent hose to it, and insert the other end of the hose into a glass container of sufficient volume, half filled with brake fluid.
3. Connect the scanner to the diagnostic connector located under the instrument panel.
4. Select the appropriate option according to the scanner's instruction manual.
Warning! Consider the maximum operating time of the ABS when using the scanner to prevent the pump motor from burning out.
- 1) Set the car manufacturer's company.
- 2) Set the car name.
- 3) Set the anti-lock brake test mode
- 4) Set the bleed method.
- 5) Click "YES", to operate the motor pump and solenoid valve.
- 6) Wait 60 seconds before venting, otherwise the motor may be damaged.
5. Slowly press the brake pedal several times. With the brake pedal depressed, loosen the bleeder screw with a wrench and wait until the brake fluid begins to come out without air bubbles. Tighten the bleeder screw and release the brake pedal.
6. Repeat step 5 to bleed the brakes on the other wheels.
7. Tighten the bleed screw.
Tightening torque: 7–9 Nm
