Order of execution
1. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
Attention! When pumping under pressure, do not press the brake pedal
Recommended brake fluid: DOT3 or DOT4.
2. Turn away a cover from the prorolling union and attach to it one end of a transparent hose, and insert other end of a hose into a glass container of sufficient volume, half filled with a brake liquid.
3. Connect the scanner to the diagnostic socket located under the instrument panel.
4. Follow the scanner's instruction manual to select the appropriate option.
Warning! Consider the maximum operating time of the ABS when using the scanner to prevent the pump motor from burning out.
- 1) Set the car manufacturer's hyundai.
- 2) Set the car name.
- 3) Set the anti-lock brake test mode
- 4) Set the bleed method.
- 5) Click «YES1», to operate the motor pump and solenoid valve.
- 6) Wait 60 seconds before venting, otherwise the motor may be damaged.
5. Slowly press the brake pedal several times. With the brake pedal depressed, loosen the bleeder screw with a wrench and wait until the brake fluid begins to come out without air bubbles. Tighten the bleeder screw and release the brake pedal.
6. Repeat step 5 to bleed the brakes on the other wheels.
7. Tighten the bleed screw. Tightening torque: 7–9 Nm.
