Blow-off system

Examination
Engine coolant temperature: 80-95°C.
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold fitting and connect a vacuum pump to it.
2. Start the engine and check that the vacuum remains constant as the engine speed increases.
Note: If no vacuum is detected, the fitting on the intake manifold may be clogged and require cleaning.

Exhaust gas cleaning system
Gas purification system from harmful substances (CO, HC, NOx) it is controlled by the engine device and special means, including a catalytic converter. It is designed to convert three components: hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NO) into non-toxic compounds.
Catalytic converter (Unleaded petrol only)
Examination
Check for damage, cracks and wear.
If faulty, replace.
Warning:
- The catalytic converter requires the use of unleaded gasoline only. Leaded gasoline will cause the neutralizer to malfunction.
- Under normal operating conditions, the catalytic converter does not require maintenance. However, it is very important to have a properly adjusted engine. Incorrectly set ignition can cause the catalytic converter to overheat. This may cause damage to it or other parts of the car. This situation can also occur during engine diagnostics if the high voltage wires are disconnected from the spark plugs and the engine is idling for a long time.
