Keys
All car locks can be locked and unlocked with one key. However, since the doors can be locked without a key, make sure that the keys are not locked in the car.
Note. You will not be able to disable the starter lock system and start the engine using your own duplicate key.
The number of the car keys is printed on a metal tag attached to the keys when the car is handed over to the buyer. The key number should be recorded and kept in a safe place in case additional keys are needed. Additional keys will be issued by any Hyundai dealer, for which it is enough to indicate their correct number. For safety reasons, the metal tag with the key number attached to the keys must be removed from the ring after the new car is issued to you and stored separately. For security reasons, Hyundai does not provide key numbers. If you need additional keys or if you lose the keys, an authorized Hyundai dealer will provide you with duplicate keys.
