In the absence of a scanning device
1. Remove the parts, including the oil filter, in the same way as when adjusting the line pressure. The valve body does not need to be removed.
2. Turn the adjusting screw in the lower valve body to adjust the reduced pressure to the nominal value. When the adjusting screw is turned clockwise, the reduced pressure decreases, and when it is turned in the opposite direction, it increases.
Notes:
- When adjusting the reduced pressure, refer to the average value (425 kPa).
- Rated value: 420±20 kPa. For one turn of the adjusting screw, the oil pressure changes by 22 kPa.
3. Install the oil filter and oil sump in the same way as when adjusting the line pressure.
4. Check oil pressure. Re-adjust if necessary.
When using a scan tool
1. Using the universal tester, adjust the servo brake pressure to the desired value by downshifting when the solenoid is engaged at 50% of the operating load.
- Rated value - 320±30 kPa
With each turn of the adjusting screw, the oil pressure changes by 30 kPa.
2. Check that the reduced pressure (after the adjustment) was in the range of 370-490 kPa.
