In the absence of a scanning device
1. Remove the parts including the oil filter in the same way as when adjusting the line pressure. There is no need to remove the valve body.

2. Rotate the adjusting screw in the lower body of the valve mechanism to adjust the reduced pressure so that it has the nominal value. When the adjusting screw is rotated clockwise, the reduced pressure decreases, and when it is rotated in the opposite direction, it increases.
Notes:
- When regulating the reduced pressure, focus on the average value (425 kPa).
- Nominal value: 420±20 kPa. For one turn of the adjusting screw, the oil pressure changes by 22 kPa.
3. Install the oil filter and oil pan in the same way as when regulating the line pressure.
4. Check the oil pressure. Readjust if necessary.
When using a scanning device
1. Using a multi-purpose tester, adjust the servo brake pressure to the desired value by downshifting with the solenoid energized at 50% of the operating load.
- Nominal value - 320±30 kPa
With each turn of the adjusting screw, the oil pressure changes by 30 kPa.
2. Check that the reduced pressure (after adjustment) is within 370-490 kPa.
