Checking oil pressure (Hyundai Sonata Y3)

1. Warm up the gearbox.

2. Raise the front of the vehicle so that the front wheels can turn.

3. Attach the engine tachometer and position it so that it is clearly visible.

4. Attach a pressure gauge to measure oil pressure (09452-21500) and adapters (09452-21001 and 09452-21002) for each oil pressure measuring port.

When measuring reverse pressure, a 3000 kPa pressure gauge must be used.

5. Measure the oil pressure under different conditions.

Make sure that the measured values are within the values given in the table below.

Note:
SW-ON: The switch on the instrument panel is turned on.
* SW-OFF: The switch on the instrument panel is turned off.
The pressure is not standard.
— Pressure less than 10 kPa.
