Disassembly
1. Using a special tool, compress the spring (1). Unscrew the nut (2) of the shock absorber strut rod (3).
2. Remove the upper support, upper cup, upper cushion and dust cover.
Examination
3. Check the spring support bearing for damage.
4. Check for leaks of working fluid on the shock absorber body.
5. By moving the shock absorber rod (4) back and forth with its housing secured, make sure that there is no abnormal resistance to movement or noise.
Assembly
6. Install the lower elastic spring support (5), aligning the protrusions (6) with the holes (7) in the lower support (8).
Note: When selecting shock absorber springs, pay attention to their color marking.

7. Compress the strut spring using a special tool. Install the spring so that the marks are facing the steering knuckle.
8. Pull the rod out fully and install the upper cushion and strut support.
9. Place the upper ends of the spring (9) in the grooves of the cups (10) and temporarily tighten the rod nut.
10. Remove the special device.
11. Tighten the self-locking nut of the rod. Tightening torque: 50-70 Nm.
