1. Self-locking nut

5. Shock absorber
Replacement
1. Remove the rear wheel.
Note: Tightening torque: 88.3 - 107.9 Nm.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the hub studs when removing the rear wheel.
2. Loosen the bolt and nut and disconnect the shock absorber (A) from the rear axle.
Note: Tightening torque: 137.3-156.9 Nm.

3. Loosen the shock absorber mounting bolts (A).
Note: Tightening torque: 49.0-63.7 Nm.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Checking the technical condition
1. Inspect rubber parts for wear and deterioration.
2. Check the shock absorber for increased resistance or noise.
Disposal
1. Pull the shock absorber rod out to the stop.
2. Drill a hole to release gas from the cylinder.
Attention.
The escaping gas is harmless, but care should be taken as chips may fly out during the drilling process.
Wear safety glasses before performing this procedure.
