1. Self-locking nut

Replacement
1. Remove the rear wheel.
Note: Tightening torque: 88.3 - 107.9 Nm.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the hub studs when removing the rear wheel.
2. Turn away a bolt and a nut and disconnect the shock-absorber (A) from the rear axle.
Note: Tightening torque: 137.3-156.9 Nm.
3. Remove the bolts (A) shock absorber mountings.
Note: Tightening torque: 49.0-63.7 Nm.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Checking the technical condition
1. Inspect rubber parts for wear and deterioration.
2. Check the shock absorber for excessive resistance or noise.
Disposal
1. Pull out the damper rod until it stops.
2. Drill a hole to release gas from the cylinder.
Attention.
The escaping gas is harmless, but care should be taken as chips may be blown out during the drilling process.
Wear safety goggles before performing this procedure.
