Replacement
1. Remove the rear wheel.
Note: Tightening torque: 88.3-107.9 Nm.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the hub studs when removing the rear wheel.
2. Remove the cotter pin and castle nut or bolt, then disconnect the rear auxiliary arm (A) from the rear axle.
Note:
Tightening torque:
- 2WD: 44.1 - 53.9 Nm.
- 4WD: 137.3-156.9 Nm.

3. Loosen the bolt and nut and remove the rear auxiliary arm (A) from the subframe.
Note: Tightening torque: 107.9-117.7 Nm.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Checking the technical condition
1. Check the bushing for wear and deformation.
2. Inspect the rear auxiliary control arm for deformation.
3. Inspect the ball joint for damage.
