Rear suspension cross beam (Hyundai Tucson LM)

Replacement

1. Remove the rear wheel.

Note: Tightening torque: 88.3-107.9 Nm.

Caution: Be careful not to damage the hub studs when removing the rear wheel.

2. Remove the parking brake cable.

3. Loosen the bolt and remove the trailing arm (A).

Note: Tightening torque: 98.1-117.7 Nm

4. Loosen the shock absorber mounting bolts (A).

Note: Tightening torque: 49.0-63.7 Nm.

5. Remove the rear muffler.





6. Loosen the bolt and remove the propeller shaft.



7. Loosen the bolts and remove the cross beam from the subframe.

Note: Tightening torque: 156.9- 176.5 Nm.

8. Remove the rear lower arm.

9. Remove the rear shock absorber.

10. Remove the rear upper control arm.

11. Remove the trailing arm.

12. Remove the rear auxiliary lever.

13. Remove the drive shaft.

14. Remove the differential housing.

15. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
