AC compressor clutch and pulley
1 - spacer sleeve; 2 - pulley and bearing; 3 - excitation coil; 4 - connector of the electromagnetic clutch; 5 - sealing ring; 6 - pipeline assembly; 7 - bolt, 16.3–26.6 Nm; 8 - plate; 9 - air conditioner compressor; 10 - shaft seal; 11 - sealing ring; 12 - seal; 13 - retaining ring; 14 - disk and bushing; 15 - bolt, 10.2–15.3 Nm.
Withdrawal
1. Turn out the bolt of fastening of the clutch sleeve, with a special key 09977-34000 hold the sleeve from turning.
2. Remove the clutch sleeve and gaskets from the compressor shaft. If the bushing cannot be removed, screw an M8 bolt into the hole in the bushing shaft and remove the bushing by the bolt.
3. Remove the snap ring.
4. Remove the pulley and bearing from the compressor shaft.
Installation
1. Clean the working surface of the compressor pulley bearing and remove any traces of dirt and corrosion.
2. Install the pulley and bearing on the compressor shaft.
3. Install retaining ring.
4. Position one nominal thickness spacer in the groove of the bushing and install the bushing on the compressor shaft.
5. Install a new bushing and secure it with a bolt, tightening it to the required torque.
Torque: 10.2 - 15.3 Nm
Warning! Do not use pneumatic tools.
6. Use a feeler gauge to check the A/C compressor clutch clearance between the clutch bush and pulley. Check clearance at three points around the perimeter of the pulley.
Gap: 0.35-0.75mm
7. If the gap differs from the required, adjust it by installing a gasket of the appropriate thickness.
