1 – air conditioning compressor; 2 – bolt, 20.4–30.6 N·m; 3 – air conditioning compressor pulley; 4 – bolt, 17 Nm; 5 – air conditioning compressor bracket; 6 – tension roller; 7 – air conditioning compressor drive belt; 8 – crankshaft pulley.
Removal
1. Discharge the air conditioning system.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the electromagnetic clutch.
3. Raise the car.
4. Loosen and remove the air conditioning compressor drive belt.
5. If necessary, remove the front muffler mounting bolts.
6. Remove the discharge hose and suction filter.
7. Remove the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts.
8. Remove the air conditioning compressor. Immediately seal all open holes and tubes to prevent moisture from the air from entering the air conditioning system.
Installation
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- fill the compressor with fresh oil;
- before installing the sealing rings, lubricate them with oil;
- do not lubricate the air conditioner compressor union nuts;
- tighten the inlet and outlet hoses to the specified torque;
- adjust the tension of the air conditioning compressor drive belt.
