Charging the air conditioning system (Hyundai Accent LC)

0
Warning! The air conditioning system is charged through the low pressure side with refrigerant in gaseous state. When the cooling container is placed on the right side, the refrigerant will enter the system as vapor.

Execution order

Execution order

1. Connect the air conditioning service station as shown in the figure.

2. Open the low pressure valve and adjust it so that the low pressure gauge shows a pressure of no more than 412 kPa.

3. Place the refrigerant container in water heated to a temperature of no more than 40°C to maintain the vapor pressure in the container slightly higher than the vapor pressure in the system.

4. Run the engine at fast idle and turn on the air conditioner.

Warning: Make sure to support the container stand to prevent liquid refrigerant from entering through the low pressure side, as this may damage the air conditioner compressor.
