Connecting pressure gauges
1 - high pressure side; 2 – high pressure side; 3 - low pressure; 4 – high pressure; 5 – low pressure side; 6 – low pressure side.
The R-134a air conditioning system has ports with "quick connect" adapters. Each adapter is a sleeve with internal threads to protect the system from contaminants.
Execution order
1. Close both valves on the line.
2. Connect the pressure gauge adapters to the appropriate ports.
3. Hand tighten the adapter hose mounting nuts.
