Order of execution
1. Liquid refrigerant R-134a with a high content of volatile substances. Skin contact may result in frostbite, so protective gloves must be worn when handling refrigerant.
2. Eye protection should be worn as standard protection when working with refrigerant. If refrigerant comes into contact with clothing or protective equipment, immediately flush the affected area with plenty of water.
3. R-134a liquid refrigerant stored in containers (cylinders). Store the refrigerant bottle below 52°C.
4. To check the tightness of the air conditioning system, use an electronic sensor. Be aware that R-134a refrigerant decomposes when exposed to fire, releasing a highly toxic gas.
5. Use only the recommended oil to lubricate the air conditioning system components, otherwise the system may fail.
6. PAG grease strongly absorbs moisture from the atmospheric air, so the following precautions must be observed:
- when disconnecting the components of the air conditioning system, immediately close the connections with appropriate covers to prevent moisture from entering the system;
- when installing new components of the air conditioning system, remove the protective covers from them immediately before installing them;
- connect the pipes and hoses of the air conditioning system as soon as possible to reduce the ingress of moisture into the system;
- Only use air conditioning lubricant from a sealed container.
7. If the air conditioning system is accidentally discharged, ventilate the work area before servicing the system.
