Attention! Charging the air conditioning system must be carried out with refrigerant in the gaseous state through the low pressure side. When the cooling container is placed on the right side, the refrigerant will enter the system as vapor.
Order of execution
1. Connect the outlet valve to the refrigerant bottle.
2. Open the low pressure valve and adjust it so that the low pressure gauge shows a pressure of 412 kPa or less.
3. Place the refrigerant container in water heated to 40°C or less to keep the vapor pressure in the container slightly higher than the vapor pressure in the system.
4. Start the engine at fast idle and turn on the air conditioner.
Attention! Be sure to support the container rack to prevent liquid refrigerant from entering through the low pressure side as this could damage the A/C compressor.
5. Charge the system with the correct amount of refrigerant and close the discharge valve. Refrigerant amount: 600±25g. When the charging speed slows down, place the refrigerant container in water heated to 40°C or less.
Warning! Under no circumstances can the refrigerant be heated in water above 52°C (126°F).
