Hyundai's high-performance automatic transmission has four forward gears and one reverse gear. It has a standard gear shift pattern as shown in the figure. In the dark, when the selector is turned on, the indicators on the panel light up automatically.
Caution: Do not move the selector lever to the "P" or "R" position while the vehicle is moving.
Note:
To move the selector, you need to press the button while simultaneously pressing the brake pedal.
To move the selector, you need to press the button.
You do not need to press the button to move the selector.
For optimum fuel economy, increase speed gradually. The transmission will automatically shift to second, third and mode "Overdrive "(overdrive).
