By following the tips below, you will save fuel and increase your vehicle's mileage.

The ride should be smooth. Don't accelerate abruptly. Do not start off by jumping or with the accelerator pedal pressed to the floor; maintain a constant speed. Don't race from traffic light to traffic light. Try to maintain the speed of the traffic flow and then you won't have to change speed too often. If possible, try to avoid getting caught in heavy traffic. Maintain a safe distance from other vehicles at all times to reduce the need to brake frequently and to reduce brake wear.
