Note: When the ABS is in operation, a slight vibration may be felt in the brake pedal during braking, and an extraneous sound may be heard from the engine compartment. This is not a sign of a malfunction, but rather normal operation of the system.
Warning:
- ABS cannot prevent accidents caused by incorrect or dangerous maneuvers. Although it improves vehicle control during emergency braking, always maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead. In extremely difficult driving conditions, always reduce speed.
- Depending on road conditions, the braking distance of vehicles equipped with ABS may be longer than that of vehicles without this system. This is possible in the following cases:
- - When driving on uneven roads, gravel roads and snow-covered roads.
- - When driving with snow chains fitted.
- - When driving on bumpy roads or roads with different road surface heights.
- The degree of safety provided by ABS should not be tested by driving at high speed or making sharp turns. By doing this you will endanger both yourself and other people.
