Examination

Warm up the car by driving, the temperature of the oil in the gearbox is from 70° to 80°C.

Place the car on a level surface.

With the engine running at idle speed, apply the handbrake. Shift the gearshift lever sequentially from P to L and move the lever to the N position.

With the engine running at idle speed,…

Remove the dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth.

(The original can be read on the resource www.HyundaiBook.ru)

Insert the dipstick all the way and pull it out again.

The oil level should reach the HOT mark. Otherwise, add oil to the automatic transmission.

Pour oil into the gearbox through a specially designed funnel with a mesh through the hole for the oil dipstick. When the level is low, the oil pump pumps air into the system, which can lead to malfunctions in the gearbox. When the level is high, the gearbox overheats and the oil is squeezed out through the ventilation valve. Excess oil must be sucked out. Black oil in an automatic transmission with a burnt smell should be replaced.

Insert the dipstick completely.
