Note: It is not necessary to remove the expansion tank cap to check the coolant level.
1. Stop the engine and let it cool down.
2. Check the coolant level in the expansion tank. The fluid level must be between the marks «L» And «F». If necessary, add coolant up to the mark «F».
Attention: do not fill in plain water instead of coolant.
Coolant replacement
Caution: Do not remove the radiator cap until the engine and radiator are cool. Escaping hot coolant and steam can cause severe burns.
1. Set the heater temperature control to the maximum temperature position.
2. Make sure the engine and radiator are completely cool.
3. Remove the radiator cap (1).
4. Remove the radiator drain plug (2) and drain the liquid.
5. Tighten the radiator drain plug.
6. Remove expansion tank (3). Drain the reservoir and reinstall it.
7. Fill coolant (concentration of water and antifreeze 1:1) into the expansion tank up to the mark «F».
Attention: do not mix different brands of antifreeze and do not add additional anti-corrosion additives to them.
8. Fill the coolant into the radiator up to the base of the filler neck. Lightly squeeze the upper and lower radiator hoses to release trapped air.
9. Start the engine and warm it up with the expansion tank cap open until the thermostat opens. As the level drops, add coolant to the radiator.
10. Press the accelerator pedal 2-3 times, then turn off the engine.
11. Install the radiator cap and add coolant to the mark «F» expansion tank.
