2. Using a spark plug wrench, remove the spark plug.
3. Make sure the electrode is not damaged (A) and spark plug insulator (IN). Replace spark plug if damaged.
4. Check the spark plug gap. If the gap exceeds the maximum, replace the spark plug.
A. Spark plug gap
Unleaded fuel: 1.0-1.1 mm
Leaded fuel: 0.7-0.8 mm
5. Check up absence of a deposit and damages on a tip of a high-voltage wire. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance of the wire. Rated value: 5.6 kΩ±20%. If the resistance is greater than 10 kΩ, replace the wire.
