Checking the transmission oil level of the manual transmission (Hyundai Accent MC)

1. Unscrew the filler plug (1).



2. Check the oil level with your finger. The oil level should reach the bottom edge of the filler hole.



3. Tighten the plug. Tightening torque: 60-80 Nm.

Replacing manual transmission oil

1. Make sure the vehicle is level.

2. Unscrew the filler plug (1).

3. Unscrew the drain plug (2) and drain the transmission oil.

4. Screw on the drain plug (2) with a new gasket. Tightening torque: 60-80 Nm.

5. Fill the gearbox with oil through the filler hole (1).
