Checking the engine oil level (Hyundai Sonata Y3)

1. Warm up the engine

2. Remove the filler neck cap (on the lid) and drain the engine oil (with the drain plug removed).

3. Screw in the drain plug and tighten it with a wrench.

Tightening torque of drain plug: 35-45 Nm

4. Fill the crankcase with fresh oil through the filler hole.

Capacity, liters

5. Remove the dipstick to check the oil level.

6. Replace the filler neck cap.

7. Recheck the engine oil level after the road test.
